as well as frequently updated 2008 2009 Volkswagen Jetta pictures.
Perpetuating the standards of excellence it established long
ago, the Jetta continues to be Volkswagen's most popular car.
The new and improved 2008 2009 Volkswagen Jetta is no exception.
The Jetta GL, GLS, GLI, and Jetta GLX are all new for 2006.
A 5-year, 60,000-mile warranty, as well as a host of other
features and amenities come standard with Volkswagen's four
models.
Build a better engine and the world will beat a path to your
doorway. Volkswagen has built four different Jetta engines
from which to choose, just as there are four different Jetta
models. A 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder inline gas engine that delivers
115 horsepower and 122 pounds-per-foot of torque is the one
that comes standard with most Jetta GL and Jetta GLS models.
A 1.9-liter, 4-cylinder inline turbocharged direct injection
diesel engine that delivers 90 horsepower and 149 pounds-per-foot
of torque is an engine that is available with Jetta GL and
Jetta GLS models in some countries. A 1.8-liter, 4-cylinder,
inline V-5 engine that delivers 180 horsepower and 174 pounds-per-foot
of torque is available in still other select Jetta GLS models.
A 2.8-liter, 6-cylinder inline engine that delivers 200 horsepower
and 195 pounds- per-foot of torque comes standard in all Jetta
GLI and Jetta GLX models. What's great about all of these
engines is that they are certified low-emissions.
All 2008 2009 Volkswagen Jetta performance vehicles are engineered
with the following features standard:
- power-assisted rack and pinion steering
- front and rear gas shock absorbers
- independent McPherson struts
- standard five-speed manual transmission
Accompanying the awesome 2008 2009 Volkswagen Jetta performance
profile is Jetta's impressive styling. Volkswagen Jetta owners
have a lot to be grateful for, including: daytime running
lights, a roof mounted amplified flexible black-whip antenna,
center mounted rear stop lamp, 2-speed windshield wipers,
and more. Interior features consist of multi-function trip
computer, a brake wear indicator, electric rear window defroster,
glove box light, automatic locking system, 100-watt audio
system, auxiliary power points, 60/40 split-folding rear seat,
and more. A four-spoke padded steering wheel and four tie-down
hooks in the trunk for easy loading are classic Volkswagen
Jetta perks. It goes without saying that the 2008 2009 Volkswagen
Jetta is performance personnified.
I Volkswagen experts have improved upon those technologies
for 2008 2009 that earned the Jetta some of the highest safety
ratings in its class, making the 2008 2009 Jetta the safest Volkswagen
ever built. Goose bump time as we run down some of the Jetta's
safety features:
- automatic tensioning retractors for front and rear passenger
belts
- front air bags
- side airbags
- LATCHchild restraint tether anchorage system
- front crush zone
- side crush pockets
- trunk escape handle for easy exit in the event that you
are ever stuck in the trunk.
Finishing what appears to be an endless list of safety features:
Engine Braking Control, Anti-Slip Regulation, Electronic Differential
Lock, and Electronic Stabilization Program, to name a few.
