The 3.3-liter V6 engine generates 180 horsepower and provides consistent performance under a variety of driving conditions. An available 3.8-liter V6 engine generates 215 horsepower, providing more power than any minivan on the market today. Some other features:

  • The car's All-Wheel Drive system combines the pulling power of front-wheel drive and the pushing power of rear-wheel drive.

  • An Independent Front Suspension provides better drive control, superior stability, and a precise feel for the road.

  • A load leveling rear suspension system automatically adjusts Town & Country's altitude for a smooth and even vehicle stance.

  • The optional Trailer Towing Group includes a load leveling and height control suspension, heavy-duty cooling package, full-size spare tire, and trailer tow wiring harness.

Town & Chrysler performance is enhanced with a number of additional features, as well. To learn more about them, please read on!

No matter who in your family wants to sit where, the Town & Country van has seating configurations to please everyone. Whether your passengers are humans or cargo, there's plenty of room and enough seating combinations to easily handle the load. The car's Easy Out Roller Seats weigh less than 50 pounds each, and can be individually carried or easily rolled to your storage area. An available 50/50 split bench rear seat adds convenience to luxury. An ultra-comfortable eight-way adjustable power driver's seat is available, too. Toss in a number of additional Town & Country accessories such as floor mats and roof racks and you'll be delighted to make the Town & Country part of your life.

The 2008 2009 Chrysler Town & Country van is safe, too. The Town & Country was the first minivan to offer standard driver and front-passenger air bags, the first minivan equipped with an antilock brake system and low-speed traction control, and the first minivan to offer an all-wheel-drive option, as well. Today, additional standard features include:

  • Next-generation multistage air bags

  • Available Supplemental side air bag offer additional protection to driver and front outboard passenger in the event of a collision.
